I received this email today after meeting remotely with a new family from overseas for 3 sessions:
"Hi Kathy, thank you so much. It's been a pleasure to have sessions with you for both L and me! It has reminded me about a lot of things that slipped off in our busy daily routine, and helped me reconnect with L and be more positive about her and notice positive changes. And this has a great effect not just with L, but with R and Z too. Thank you so much! I hope we can work with you more, online or face-to-face. With best wishes, E"
"In January it will be a full year that we have been doing ABM with you and now I cannot picture our lives without it, I am re-reading the book and focusing on the 9 Essentials so I can be sure we are maximizing there influence on Drew. Thank you for all you have done for us and working with our sweet little Drew. Our lives are forever changed. It feels so good to focus on letting him be the best he can be."
Nicole, mom to Drew, cerebral palsy
"Jalen is absolutely doing amazing! First I wanted to tell you that since he began seeing you his GI system has improved so much! He is no longer constipated and hasn't vomited but one time. Prior to seeing you he vomited often and we struggled with mirilax and prune juice to help with constipation. He also generally seems more comfortable. Also, he used to sit with arms almost crossed, fists clenched tight against his chest. He now has more relaxed arms that are no longer tight to his chest, his hands are more open and he grabs for toys more easily. It's amazing to see his arms rested on his legs, like a relaxed typical little 2 ½ year old! He also is rolling all around! It's more consistent and he loves getting himself onto his belly pulls his arms out to the side and up to the crawl position. Something we never saw in years of PT! He is really trying to do a crawl now so it's very exciting J Overall we could not be more pleased with his progress! And we owe it all to you! I have been telling everyone I can about you. Therapists, doctors, friends and they are researching Anat Baniel Method for themselves." Jennifer, mom to Jalen, microcephaly/ cerebral palsy/spastic quadraplegia
"Dear Kathy, I've been thinking more since seeing you with Jenny and Sarah yesterday, appreciating even more than I had before the marvelous determination, patience, faith, love, and commitment you bring to this work. It was a choice of such deep love and determination to get the training and all the help for your granddaughter, and then of such generosity and compassion to share it with others like us. .....So I want to thank you again for the gift you are bringing into our lives through your choices."
Janet, grandmother to Sarah, developmental delays/ chromosome disorder
"I wanted to tell you that yesterday afternoon Renny "cruised" for the first time. He was slow and apprehensive but he made his way from one end of the table to the other. And last night on his way to the tub, he pulled himself up from knees to standing from the bottom stair! He has also been eating off of a spoon really well which is not typical for him. We are amazed and excited and wanted to share the good news with you. ....let me know when we should have Renny back in your hands again. What a wonderful experience it was working with you this week - can't wait to see you again." Lisa, mom to Renny, developmental delays
"Rowan had her osteopath appointment today and he said she has more range of motion in her arm than ever!! Yea!! We are so excited." "Kathy has been helping us teach her sign language instead of fussing and whining for everything. That's been way more helpful on my nerves...." Gail, mom to Rowan, brachial plexus injury
"All I have to say is WOW! I was so impressed and am so excited about future sessions. .... she did great with the therapy I thought." Vicki, mom to Ava, brain injury at birth
"I just want to thank you again for your dedication to Gracyn. You are an inspiration to me and a healer for my daughter." Maggie, mom to Gracyn, seizures at birth/cerebral palsy "Matthew really seems to enjoy this therapy and we feel he is making improvements from it." Kay, mom to Matthew, infantile spasms post DPT vaccine
"Every time I bring Emma for her lessons with Kathy, I know that in the days to come after her lessons, I will be witness to some great gift..It could be Emma's movement, her speech, or maybe her vision. One never knows. But its inevitable and that's what's so great about ABM. Last week's lessons not only helped Emma, but my wife as well." David, dad to Emma, Agenesis of corpus collosum (ACC)
